Well Being Champion Programme

Wellbeing Champions act as “go to” individuals within your company that can respond well to those in need of a “listening ear.” They can provide general wellbeing support, facilitate implementation of the company’s health and wellbeing strategy, and signpost the wellbeing support available.

Wellbeing Champions can be a helpful “temperature gauge” and feedback mechanism for employee engagement. Work-related pressures can be high, the support of wellbeing champions can help ensure a mentally and physically healthy team which will reap organisational benefits. Much of this is likely to be due to mental health issues impacting efficiency.

This programme is designed to support people learning to become Wellbeing Champions.  It is led by Gill Mathias who is a CPD trainer.

The programme is a combination of 4 live training sessions over 2 days with a small amount of individual work to complete between day 1 and 2.  This must be completed before becoming a mental health and well-being champion and receipt of the certificate.

This programme is designed to help and support colleagues but does not replace professionals with qualifications.
